The Mercedes A35 AMG Eventuri intake system was developed to provide the turbo with a less restrictive flow path while keeping intake temperatures low. Reducing heat suction and increasing internal volume are the main considerations when developing an intake system for turbocharged engines. In the A35, the intake system is located in close proximity to the exhaust manifold, which quickly heats up the engine compartment. High temperatures have a detrimental effect on engine performance, as the turbo has to build up boost pressure with heated, less dense air. Therefore, the only way to reduce IAT to a minimum is to have a completely sealed intake tract. To reduce the restrictions of a closed intake tract, we increased the volume of the airbox by relocating the ECU and providing an opening in the airbox on the cold side, away from the direct heat of the manifold. The carbon inlet pipe has a larger internal volume with an initial internal diameter of 111mm (4.4?) which tapers smoothly to match the turbo inlet pipe diameter. Finally, we use a custom high-flow dry filter that is ISO approved and has a larger filter area than the stock filter.
Dyno testsThe dyno tests were carried out by MSL Performance, a Mercedes specialist based in the UK. A fully standard A35 AMG was tested with the standard airbox and then with the Eventuri intake system, with the same external conditions. As can be seen below, the intake system offers an increase in power throughout the rev range. The highlighted point shows a significant power gain as the intake allows a higher flow rate in the higher rev range where the stock airbox becomes a restriction. The resulting performance gains are noticeable on the road, with better throttle response and improved acceleration times. With a tuned A35 we would expect even better gains as the demand from the turbo increases.
The Eventuri A35 intake system consists of a number of components designed for a specific purpose and manufactured to the highest standards. We use 100% pre-impregnated carbon fiber without fiberglass, which means we can achieve a smooth inner surface to get a smoother airflow. The Mercedes M139 intake manifold for the A45 and CLA45 has been developed to allow the turbo a smoother airflow. By redesigning the system to allow a much more direct path, the turbo is able to generate boost pressure with less drag and therefore reach the target boost pressure earlier in the rev range. This intake system is designed to provide the highest possible flow rate while maintaining the lowest intake temperatures to achieve a net power gain. The de-throttled flow path also allows for a more pronounced spooling of the turbo, adding to the dynamics of the overall driving experience.
The Eventuri difference
The Mercedes M139 Eventuri system uses our patented carbon fibre housing, which provides an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbo. It's not another cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that creates the Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce the drag of the turbo.
Bench test
Our M139 intake has been independently tested by a Mercedes specialised tuner in the UK - MSL Performance. Several runs were carried out with the OEM airbox to get a repeatable result and then again with the Eventuri intake. The tests were carried out back-to-back on the same day. The results show an increase in torque and power across the rev range - not just at peak revs, which is why the car feels more responsive and can accelerate faster through the gears.

Eventuri's AMG GTR intake system is a fully sealed system developed through extensive real-world testing and airflow simulation analyses. It features our patented venturi housings which allow the smoothest possible airflow to the turbo inlets. The housings enclose our customised filters, which help to shape the airflow and maintain laminar conditions. They have also been maximised in internal volume to reduce restriction and in doing so we have also redesigned the central OEM cover as it presses on the much larger system. Finally, the intake air temperatures are kept constant with the ducts sealing to the filter housings. The AMG GTR intake system has been independently tested by RENNtech, the world's leading Mercedes tuning company, and has been proven to increase performance on both standard and tuned engines. Dyno tests
The dyno tests were conducted by RENNtech in the USA, who tested a GTR in original condition and also with their own ECU set-up back to back, comparing the OEM airboxes with our intake system. As can be seen below, the intake from Eventuri offers a power gain across the entire rev range. The peak power and torque figures are summarised below for each configuration. The mid-range gains are in some places higher than the stated peak values, as can be seen in the graphs. The resulting gains are noticeable on the road through better throttle response and improved acceleration times.

The Mercedes W205 C63/S AMG intake system is the culmination of extensive development and testing. Our design consisted of 3 main objectives:
1) Increased flow
2) Low inlet temperatures
3) Smooth airflow
The first objective was achieved by utilising all the limited space in the engine bay of the C63S, resulting in a 35% higher flow rate compared to the original system. The second goal was achieved by developing a fully enclosed system. The C63S engine bay reaches high temperatures with heat sources such as the turbos in close proximity to the intake system, so it is critical that the intake system remains sealed. The end goal was achieved by designing an organically moulded system with individual rounded panel filters to ensure the airflow path contained no sharp corners, keeping the flow laminar. With smooth transitions from the filters to the turbo inlets, our intake system minimises the creation of turbulence, allowing the turbos to operate more efficiently.When all 3 objectives are achieved, our intake system for the W205 C63(S) delivers on all fronts and allows the turbos to generate boost more efficiently. This leads to improved throttle response and real power gains, which increase the more power the engine has.
As there are various turbo upgrades available for the C63/S, we have also developed a special solution for larger turbos.
Our C63/S intake is available in 2 configurations:

Dyno tests were performed on both a full C63S and a Stage 2 C63S with downpipes and software optimisation. Below is the dyno chart for the Stage 2 car that had the same tune for all runs and only the airbox was changed. It is important to note that the bonnet was closed for all runs to simulate road conditions. Dyno tests with the bonnet open - especially with open conical intakes - do not give a reliable indication of how the intake system affects performance. On the road, the bonnet is closed and so all the heat from the turbos is retained in the engine bay. On the C63S, this intense heat is a problem, which is why a closed system is so important. As the higher air temperature is less dense, the turbos don't make as much pressure, resulting in lower power.Here, our fully sealed system shows that power increases linearly after 4800 rpm, where the airflow requirement increases and the original airboxes become a restriction. These power gains were measured after only the original airbox was swapped for the Eventuri intake system - all other changes were present for both the original airbox and the Eventuri intake system.The gains measured on the dyno translate to increased part-throttle and full-throttle response on the road, with the car pulling much more eagerly to redline. Testing was conducted back-to-back on the same day and temperatures were monitored to ensure consistency. The car was first tested with the bonnet closed. We then left the car on the dyno and installed the Eventuri. The car was then driven again - bonnet closed. Several runs were carried out with both configurations to achieve a consistent result.

The intake system of the Mercedes GLC63S AMG is the result of extensive development and testing. Our design brief consisted of 3 main objectives: 1) Increased flow rate. 2) Low intake temperatures. 3) Smooth airflow. The first objective was achieved by utilizing all the limited available space in the engine bay of the GLC63S, resulting in a 39% higher flow rate compared to the standard system. The second objective was achieved by designing a fully sealed system. The engine bay of the GLC63S reaches high temperatures with heat sources such as the turbos in close proximity to the intake, so it is crucial that the intake remains sealed. The final goal was achieved by designing an organically shaped system with specially rounded plate filters to ensure the airflow path contains no sharp corners and therefore allows laminar flow.
When all three goals are achieved, our W205 C63S intake system delivers on all fronts and allows the turbos to generate boost more efficiently. This results in improved throttle response and real power gains that increase with higher tuning states.

At higher air temperatures, the density is lower, the turbos don't make as much thrust, resulting in lower power. Once the car accelerates and the open cone inlets are drawn through the existing stagnant hot air, they continue to draw in the heat generated by the engine and turbos as they spool. When the engine is under load and accelerating, turbos generate a lot of heat, which can even be seen on the red glowing hot sides.
It can be seen here with our fully sealed system that power increases linearly after 4800 rpm where the airflow requirement increases and the stock airboxes become a restriction. These power gains were measured after only the stock airbox was modified for the Eventuri intake all other modifications were present for both the stock airbox and the Eventuri intake.
The gains measured on the dyno result in increased part throttle and full throttle response on the road, with the car pulling much more eagerly to the redline. The tests were conducted back-to-back on the same day and temperatures were monitored to ensure consistency. The car was initially tested with the hood closed. We then left the car on the dyno and fitted the Eventuri. The car was then driven again - hood closed. Several runs were made with both configurations to get a consistent result.

The "Plug & Play" solution for vehicles with standard electronic damper adjustment.
KW also offers you the possibility to combine the active standard damper control of your sporty vehicle with the stainless steel KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension. This means that you can continue to use the existing active damper control in your car such as the VW Scirocco, VW Golf VI, VW Passat, BMW Dreier and other models in conjunction with a continuously variable lowering system.
The best thing about it: Apart from replacing the adaptive standard suspension with the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension, no further conversion steps or even modifications to the on-board electronics are necessary. The adaptive KW dampers are simply connected to the original connectors of your car manufacturer via the KW DDC plug connection. The standard control unit then takes over the regulation and control of the KW DDC Plug & Play coilover suspension.

Similar to our racing coilovers from the KW Competition programme, the rebound and compression damping of the KW V3 can be adjusted independently of each other. This individual tuning option is appreciated by tuners, sports car manufacturers, tuners and demanding drivers worldwide.
The perfect suspension setup for significantly more driving dynamics
If you have already carried out initial performance modifications to your sporty road vehicle, it is easy to incorporate these into the damper set-up in a targeted manner with the KW V3. The patented KW valve technology for the separate adjustment of the rebound and compression damping allows you to customise the vehicle-specific basic set-up from KW. For example, the KW bottom valve, which can be adjusted in twelve clicks in the low-speed range of the compression damping, gives you the freedom to even take the tyre characteristics of your high and ultra-high performance road tyres into account in the suspension set-up.
Thanks to the patented compression adjustment at the lower piston end of the stainless steel housing, you don't even need any tools. The adjustable compression adjustment with its twelve precise clicks allows you to influence body roll and body roll movements by hand without having to change the rebound damping to match the spring rate.
With the individually adjustable rebound damping of the KW V3, you can directly influence the handling and comfort through the exact click adjustment. Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valves of the KW twin-tube dampers are adjusted at the upper end of the piston rod via an integrated adjustment wheel or the slip-on adjustment wheel included in the scope of delivery.
By increasing the rebound force via the adjustment wheel, the body movements on the body are reduced. As a result, your car tracks more accurately and you have even more stability at higher cornering speeds. If, for example, you change from the approved wheel/tyre combinations of your car manufacturer to larger rims, you can use the KW V3 to perfectly match the handling of your car and your new alloy wheels.
High-quality, customised and durable
The KW V3 is subjected to extensive quality tests during production and every single damper is checked. This is the only way we can fulfil our claim to provide a warranty of up to five years when a KW coilover suspension V3 is installed by a KW specialist dealer. Due to the filigree workmanship and the use of high-quality components, the KW coilover struts made of stainless steel, for example, are 100 per cent rust-free and have an unlimited service life.
This means that the functionality of the stepless lowering system via the dirt-resistant KW trapezoidal thread and the KW polyamide threaded ring is not impaired even after many years. Thanks to the individual lowering with its stepless adjustment range, you can also emphasise the sportiness of your vehicle visually. A feature that is very popular in the performance-orientated tuning scene.

KW HLS Hydraulic Lift System
For easy driving over various obstacles for sporty cars with low ground clearance
More ground clearance at the touch of a button
With the HLS lift system, you can raise your sports car or lowered vehicle to safely drive over obstacles such as speed bumps, speed humps, level crossings, construction sites, garage and underground parking garage entrances. Depending on the version of the HLS lift system installed, either the front axle or both axles of your vehicle are raised hydraulically by up to 45 millimetres.
This prevents your aerodynamic components, underbody protection or even the oil pan from being damaged. Depending on the vehicle type and model, the lift system is available as a vehicle-specific solution with or without KW coilover suspension. If your vehicle is not yet included in our KW HLS product range, our engineers have also developed a universal lift system.

Our HLS is available as an application-specific solution for a wide range of super sports cars and even for compact models. All the components supplied, such as the hydraulic lines and hydraulic pump, are adapted to your vehicle and therefore all our components harmonize perfectly with your sports car. Whether you combine the HLS with your standard suspension or with our KW coilovers in stainless steel, which are among the world's top aftermarket products, is up to you to decide. Alpina, BMW M, Manthey, Mercedes-Benz AMG, Novitec Rosso and many other well-known companies in the international automotive industry have already opted for KW.
The "HLS 2" version of the lift kit, which is only installed on the front axle, allows you to lift the front of your sports car. If you opt for the "HLS 4" variant, your entire vehicle will be lifted. For this purpose, a hydraulic cylinder is mounted between the spring plate and spring on each KW coilover strut. The great advantage of the hydraulic system is that there is no compression (movement) of the extended cylinder unit during driving (no unwanted additional suspension) and therefore the driving dynamics cannot be impaired. The scope of delivery for all HLS Lift Kit variants also includes a control unit that is connected to the vehicle's on-board electronics. As a result, the vehicle is automatically lowered to the original depth of the KW coilover suspension or your standard suspension from a certain speed.

This allows short intake paths to be generated without large deflections. This system also includes a specially developed open sports air filter, which offers maximum filtration efficiency with minimum back pressure. With a connection diameter of Ø76 mm in the direction of the turbocharger, which is adapted to the original turbocharger connection using a silicone hose, the air mass flow rate is increased by an impressive +50%. The 2.0L M 133 turbo engine of the specified A-Class models from AMG is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. This means that the charge air is not cooled using the ambient air as a cooling medium (as usual), but with the aid of a separate cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature can therefore be directly equated with an improved cooling performance of the charge air. This is precisely where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING upgrade water cooler come into play. The newly developed competition racing mesh of the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water cooler increases the radiator volume of the standard water cooler by 77%. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows the neighbouring components (e.g. the engine water cooler located behind it) sufficient airflow for heat exchange. The Mercedes A35 Eventuri turbo pipe was developed to offer the turbo a less restrictive flow path compared to the standard pipe. We have succeeded in increasing the internal volume and eliminating the corrugated, flexible section on the airbox side. By using a completely solid pipe all the way from the intake tract to the turbo, the flow path is smoother and the airflow can remain more laminar. To accommodate the movement of the engine, our A35 intake has a "floating" pipe that can move within the airbox. The shape of the carbon tube on the turbo side has been optimised using CFD to minimise turbulence. The connection to the turbo is achieved by an innovative silicone coupling, which has an internal thermal separator between the carbon pipe and the metal turbo housing. The multiple vent ports at the rear of the pipe are done with a CNC machined block that also provides a smooth internal surface for airflow within the pipe.
The Eventuri A35-A250 turbo inlet pipe is made from prepreg carbon fibre and comes with a range of other components designed for a specific purpose and manufactured to the highest standards.
It is available to fit the A35, CLA35 and A250. The inlet pipe is only suitable for our intake system.

Blackboost Conical Twin Flow Synthetic Dry Air Filters
The filter consists of two filter elements, firstly the primary filter element on the outside.
The secondary filter element on the top increases the surface area through which the air can flow. Underneath the secondary filter element is a TPU cone which helps to direct the air flowing through the filter, reducing turbulence and increasing the overall flow rate.
We opted for dry filters as they allow us to cover a wide range of applications involving mass airflow sensors that are damaged over time by oiled filters. With the synthetic cotton filter element, we can work completely dry (unoiled) and still ensure good filtration and airflow.
The layers of the synthetic filter material are better than its non-synthetic counterpart as the layered structure of the synthetic cotton allows a homogeneous airflow through the filter.
The kits include the hoses, the moulded plastic composite adapters and the necessary BlackBoost SS316 clamps to keep the components well in place.
