Blackboost Conical Twin Flow Synthetic Dry Air Filters The filter consists of two filter elements, firstly the primary filter element on the outside. The secondary filter element on the top increases the surface area through which the air can flow. Underneath the secondary filter element is a TPU cone which helps to direct the air flowing through the filter, reducing turbulence and increasing the overall flow rate. We opted for dry filters as they allow us to cover a wide range of applications involving mass airflow sensors that are damaged over time by oiled filters. With the synthetic cotton filter element, we can work completely dry (unoiled) and still ensure good filtration and airflow. The layers of the synthetic filter material are better than its non-synthetic counterpart as the layered structure of the synthetic cotton allows a homogeneous airflow through the filter. The kits include the hoses, the moulded plastic composite adapters and the necessary BlackBoost SS316 clamps to keep the components well in place.
