It has been designed to achieve two goals - 1) Relieve the turbo intake paths. 2) Maintain low inlet temperatures. The first objective was achieved by fitting each turbo with a separate filter and venturi funnel to reduce drag and allow the turbos to work more efficiently. The second goal was achieved by enclosing the filters in a carbon air chamber and feeding them with an additional scoop mounted behind the front grille. The engine bay of the C7 RS6/RS7 has multiple heat sources from different directions, so a simple configuration of open filters and shielding would result in higher IAT values. Our carbon airbox housing has been designed to maximise the available volume and block all heat sources. The resulting performance gains and aesthetics are industry leading for the C7 S6/S7.
