Our entry-level model for more driving pleasure through an appealing and individually adjustable lowering is the KW V1 coilover suspension in the KW typical "inox-line". Thanks to its high-quality workmanship, the consistent use of stainless steel struts, corrosion-resistant springs and harmonised components, it stands for many years of driving pleasure - and not just for the life of the car.
Stepless lowering
The KW V1 enables maximum lowering within the tested adjustment range. This varies depending on the vehicle model and can, for example, be between 30 and 70 millimetres or 50 to 90 millimetres for an individual lowering. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even years later. Depending on the vehicle, the lowering is carried out either on the wheel-guiding KW stainless steel suspension struts or on the rear axle height adjustment for non-wheel-guiding double-wishbone rear axles.

With its harmonious basic set-up for sporty driving on the road, the KW V1 convinces the discerning tuning fan. Our development engineers determine a specific damper set-up and spring rate for each vehicle in order to increase your driving pleasure with the optimum balance of sportiness and suitability for everyday use. After all, you are not buying just any coilover suspension, but a KW coilover suspension that has been specially developed and tuned for your vehicle type. As a manufacturer, KW only uses its own resources, high-quality components and the same damper technology as mass-produced manufacturers. With the KW V1, the rolling and rolling movements of the vehicle body are reduced during compression, allowing you to benefit from unadulterated directness and sportier handling when driving.

Setup - factory pre-configured damping setup
The KW V1 has a vehicle-specific, permanently configured damper setup. The spring and damper are perfectly matched to each other so that you experience an optimum balance of sportiness and suitability for everyday use when driving.
Even with a full payload and maximum axle loads, the dampers always work with a sporty characteristic curve. It is interesting to note that the KW V1 is particularly popular with tuning enthusiasts who prioritise the idea of show & shine.
