The 4.0 liter V8 BiTurbo engine (M178 DE 40 AL) of your AMG model is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit, which is replaced by our innovative intercooler.
Our high-performance intercooler features an innovative performance mesh measuring 209 mm x 175 mm x 110 mm, which has been specially developed to meet the demanding requirements of your AMG engine. With an impressive 86% larger outer mesh volume compared to the original radiator, the optimal ratio between inner and outer cooling surface allows for maximum heat transfer and optimal internal airflow. The cast aluminium end boxes have been optimized using the latest CAD technology and CFD simulations to ensure outstanding cooling performance with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore also ideally suited for racing and ensures optimum cooling of the supercharged air with a significant increase in performance!
