In more powerful vehicles, the increased boost pressure can cause the original pipe to burst. In the worst case, this can lead to engine damage due to fragments being sucked in. Compared to the original, the pressure pipe has an enlarged diameter of 76mm (3").This reduces air turbulence and at the same time increases the air flow. This allows the turbocharger to respond more quickly, which increases the maximum possible output. The engine control unit does not need to be retuned. Even at very high charge pressures, there is no risk of bursting with this pressure pipe.
