The most important features of the MOVIT brake system are- The progressive staggering of the piston diameters, matched to the vehicle, so that precisely parallel contact pressure between the pad and the disc is guaranteed. This enables even wear of the brake pads and ensures even heat transfer and a reduced system temperature.- Very good heat dissipation due to the open design of the brake pad contour.- Calipers manufactured from high-strength, highly tempered aircraft aluminium 7075 with high-quality material properties (stiffer components, more homogeneous structure), hard anodised and coated with a triple layer of paint.- Optimised stability due to the length of the callipers- Larger brake disc diameter and thickness, more cross holes (each pre-cast hole is re-drilled and countersunk, which has a favourable effect on the flow).- The brake discs are thermally tempered.- The optimised DDE ventilation system (double directional evolvent system) of the brake disc has an 80% larger surface area compared to other brake discs, the temperature of the brake disc is significantly reduced and therefore also the wear.- Long service life of the wearing parts, excellent response behaviour, steel flex lines ensure consistent performance.- Optimally matched brake pads ensure fading resistance, a long service life and reduced wear on spare parts Attention: The conversion means that only rims with at least 20 inches can be fitted!
