The BlackBoost Cold Air Intakes are designed to be flush with the hood of the vehicle and provide an even seal with the rubber gaskets of the airbox, while also ensuring a large surface area for our 4. 3 inch Twin Flow Conical Filters to work properly.
We have redefined our new generation intake with molded synthetic composite intake tubes that are CFD engineered to achieve the best airflow. With a smallest diameter of 80 mm, we have completely oversized the pipes compared to our previous generation. The pipes are equipped with 1/8 inch NPT connections for methanol injection. Couple the molded synthetic composite intake tube with the BlackBoost dual flow filters specifically designed for maximum airflow and surface area. These dry filters guarantee you the best flow and protection.
The airboxes are laser-cut AL panels with highly complex CNC bends, assembled with stainless steel fasteners and finished with a high-quality black powder coating.

The 4.0L V8 biturbo engine of the E63 (S) models from AMG is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. This means that the charge air cooling process is not realised using the ambient air as a cooling medium (as usual), but with the help of a separate cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature can therefore be directly equated with an improved cooling performance of the charge air. This is precisely where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING upgrade water cooler come into play.
The newly developed competition racing mesh of the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water cooler increases the radiator volume of the standard water cooler by a total of 210%. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer. Furthermore, the water cooler is equipped with a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating to ensure a long-lasting cooling effect. Installation of the system is also straightforward and plug & play with the help of our installation instructions.

Blackboost Conical Twin Flow Synthetic Dry Air Filters
The filter consists of two filter elements, firstly the primary filter element on the outside.
The secondary filter element on the top increases the surface area through which the air can flow. Underneath the secondary filter element is a TPU cone which helps to direct the air flowing through the filter, reducing turbulence and increasing the overall flow rate.
We opted for dry filters as they allow us to cover a wide range of applications involving mass airflow sensors that are damaged over time by oiled filters. With the synthetic cotton filter element, we can work completely dry (unoiled) and still ensure good filtration and airflow.
The layers of the synthetic filter material are better than its non-synthetic counterpart as the layered structure of the synthetic cotton allows a homogeneous airflow through the filter.
The kits include the hoses, the moulded plastic composite adapters and the necessary BlackBoost SS316 clamps to keep the components well in place.

Thanks to the flexible software, we have rotated the view by 90°, allowing us to find the perfect position. The Supra MK5 display comes with a vehicle-specific panel and fits into the interior like an original part.
The sensors are queried by the Can Bus via the manufacturer-specific protocol. We have optimized the protocol to achieve maximum polling speed.

Our MFD32 is compatible with ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284.The control unit manufacturers themselves determine which values are sent via the CAN bus interface. The documentation is important here - possibly even in the form of a DBC file that can be imported directly. You can also access our extensive list of already implemented control units. This can be found in the download area. A total of up to 50 sensors can be queried if the manufacturer supports this.Broadcast data as well as OBD2 queries via Can Bus (11bit/29bit) are implemented. Special protocols such as TP2.0 from VW/Audi and UDS are also available.
DSS - Display Setup Software:With our DSS - Display Setup Software, the display can be conveniently configured on the PC. The Can Bus protocol can be customized, you can import DBC files and design the displays with your own widgets.The log viewer downloads log files from the display. These can then be viewed and values can be individually selected and scaled.A built-in Can Bus logger allows you to take a close look at the log. This can be used to reverse-engineer unknown Can Buses.
