These sports air filters have polyurethane as the edge material. Polyurethane is more resistant to petrol, vapours and the like. It has an ideal remoulding. This ensures that the edge of the filter is 100% sealed even when it is reinserted after cleaning.
The edge surface is made from a single mould. With many other makes, pores in the edge material and joining surfaces where the edge is joined together often lead to a crack in the edge, which can result in unclean air being sucked into the engine.
With paper filters, the air flow rate is significantly lower and decreases further after just a short period of use.In addition, paper filters must be disposed of after the specified mileage. Cleaning the filters:A TitanTec sports air filter has no oil residue and has 100% of its original performance again after cleaning.Cleaning is quick and easy.We recommend cleaning after 15,000-20,000 kilometres or once a year at the latest.The best time to clean the air filter is around the end of May or beginning of June, i.e. after the pollen count, as this is the time when the air filter is under the most strain.Under no circumstances should aggressive cleaning agents such as petroleum ether, cleaning petrol, brake cleaner etc. be used, as this can damage the material.

Introducing an intake that truly sets a new benchmark for the G8X platform. We have undertaken intensive research and development to create an intake system that not only outperforms the standard vehicle, but is also future proofed for power increases well in excess of 1000hp. Our system is a complete redesign from the airboxes to the turbo inlets with the aim of reducing pressure loss while increasing flow rate and keeping inlet temperatures low. We have maximized the use of available space and used 2 custom made filters with a 40% larger filter area than stock. These are used in our patented Venturi housings to direct the air evenly to the turbo inlets. The inlets themselves have a cross section up to 160% larger than standard and are fitted with an advanced dimpled inner surface to reduce frictional losses between the flow and the wall boundary. By creating an air "cushion" on the wall surface, the airflow can move through the inlets at higher flow rates and lower pressure drop. This allows the turbos to draw in air with less resistance, reducing the wastegate duty cycle, resulting in higher overall performance.
Bench testThis intake system was independently bench tested by BR Performance in Belgium. The tests were carried out back-to-back with the standard airbox and several runs were made with each configuration. The tested vehicle was driven without an activated carbon filter. We compared the best results with the standard airbox and the best results with the Eventuri system. The results on the dyno show a constant increase across the entire rev range, which is due to the turbos reaching maximum boost pressure earlier and having a lower wastegate duty cycle due to the higher efficiency of the intake system. This increase is despite the increase in dyno temperatures from 11.8 degrees Celsius in the tests with the standard system to almost 16 degrees Celsius in the Eventuri tests. The increase in performance is reflected on the road in improved response at part and full throttle, with the car pulling much more eagerly to the red line.

Even with intercoolers and charge air coolers, it is important to minimize intake air temperatures as these cooling devices operate at a certain efficiency, so the output air temperature is affected by the input air temperature. Restricting the intake tract with open cones, even if they are heat protected, will inevitably draw hot air from the engine bay. Our system, which is completely sealed, solves this problem, while still not restricting the flow path by using larger volumes. To demonstrate this, we recorded the air temperatures with thermocouples immediately before each turbo. The comparisons were made on the same day and under the same environmental conditions between the original and Eventuri. Our vehicle was allowed to warm up and then accelerated from 30mph to 90mph in 6th gear to measure the temperature change on each run. The car was accelerated in 6th gear to measure the temperature change with each run. At 90mph, the gas pedal was released and the brakes applied to 30mph, after which the car was accelerated back to 90mph. A total of 3 pull-throughs were performed with both intake configurations.

The factory front strut brace on the G8x has been completely redesigned and replaced with a pressure-kettle cured, 100% prepreg carbon fibre tube system, reducing the number of joints and potential weak points. Unlike most other G8x dome struts on the market, the unique one-piece V-brace does not use weaker multi-piece joints or off-the-shelf carbon fibre tubes inserted into the body mounts.In addition to increasing rigidity, this strut brace is lighter than the original part.
The strut brace is complemented by a CNC machined 6061 aluminium bracket that is integrated directly into the brace itself for added strength. The aluminium bracket is available in a choice of natural silver or black anodised finish.
Installation is quick and easy using the factory brackets. You won't regret adding this carbon fibre addition to the engine bay of your G8X, especially if you want to add a carbon fibre intake tract or engine cover!

The 3.0L R6 biturbo engine (S58) is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. This means that the charge air cooling process is not realised using the ambient air as a cooling medium (as usual), but with the help of a separate cooling water circuit. A reduction in the cooling water temperature can therefore be directly equated with an improved cooling performance of the charge air. This is precisely where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING upgrade water cooler come into play.
The newly developed competition racing mesh of the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water cooler increases the radiator volume of the standard water cooler by a total of 60 %. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows the neighbouring components (e.g. the engine water cooler behind it) sufficient airflow for heat exchange. Furthermore, the water coolers are equipped with a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating to ensure a long-lasting cooling effect. Installation of the system is also straightforward and plug & play with the help of our installation instructions.
