KW V4 coilover suspension incl. decommissioning for electric dampers - State of the Art

With the new KW V4 with its stainless steel or aluminium coilover struts, you give your super sports car the necessary reserves to further increase the driving dynamics. The three-way adjustable high-performance dampers with their independent rebound adjustment as well as low-speed and high-speed compression damping are based on the successful racing technology of the multiple overall winner of the ADAC Zurich 24h Race Nürburgring and, depending on the vehicle-specific version, have aluminium support bearings. The new KW V4 is developed exclusively for selected high-performance vehicles, which can be moved more safely at the limits of driving dynamics thanks to our KW suspension technology.

- 3-way adjustable high-performance dampers with stainless steel coilover struts
- Separate and independent damper adjustment in:
- Rebound damping with 16 exact clicks + (firmer) / - (more comfortable)
- Low-speed compression damping with 6 exact clicks + (firmer) / - (more comfortable)
- High-speed compression damping with 14 exact clicks + (firmer) / - (more comfortable)
- Two basic factory set-ups with comfort setting and performance setting
- Depending on the vehicle, aluminium support bearings are an integral part of the scope of delivery

Please note the conditions and instructions for this product:
- VA + HA height-adjustable (VA coilover struts, HA springs with height adjustment + dampers)
- Dampers have easy-to-operate adjustment wheels. Due to the design, the rebound stage can only be adjusted when the piston rod is accessible.
- Electronic damper control must be deactivated. Electronic kit for decommissioning is included in the scope of delivery.
- Variant 4 / Variant 5 Suspension struts / dampers made of aluminium or combined on each axle made of aluminium and stainless steel
- In the case of increased wheel camber values on the front axle, we recommend the continuously adjustable camber correction for the designated vehicles (see KW accessories).

MOVIT DDE steel brake system 380x36mm (6 piston calliper) for the front axle, from 19 inch rims upwardsApplication-focussed development is the cornerstone of this high-performance brake system. The required balance of weight, performance and durability is optimally combined. The uncompromising selection of materials in production results in a highly unique product that meets the diverse requirements of extreme automotive applications. The most important features of the MOVIT brake system are- The progressive staggering of the piston diameters, matched to the vehicle, so that precisely parallel contact pressure between the pad and the disc is guaranteed. This enables even wear of the brake pads and ensures even heat transfer and a reduced system temperature.- Very good heat dissipation due to the open design of the brake pad contour.- Calipers manufactured from high-strength, highly tempered aircraft aluminium 7075 with high-quality material properties (stiffer components, more homogeneous structure), hard anodised and coated with a triple layer of paint.- Optimised stability due to the length of the callipers- Larger brake disc diameter and thickness, more cross holes (each pre-cast hole is re-drilled and countersunk, which has a favourable effect on the flow).- The brake discs are thermally tempered.- The optimised DDE ventilation system (double directional evolvent system) of the brake disc has an 80% larger surface area compared to other brake discs, the temperature of the brake disc is significantly reduced and therefore also the wear.- Long service life of the wearing parts, excellent response behaviour, steel flex lines ensure consistent performance.- Optimally matched brake pads ensure fading resistance, a long service life and reduced wear on spare parts Attention: The conversion means that only rims with at least 19 inches can be fitted!
