ST X COILOVERS
The ST X coilovers allow moderate to eXtreme lowering thanks to the infinitely variable thread adjustment. Based on the know-how of KW, the market leader for individual suspension solutions, the ST X coilovers impress with their quality and driving dynamics.
The ST X coilovers made by KW can be quickly and easily adjusted in the lowering level via the trapezoidal thread on the galvanized and multi-sealed spring strut. To do this, the ST polyamide threaded spring washer is turned up or down when installed. The adjustment range is different for each vehicle, for example between 35 and 65 mm on the front and rear axle of the Audi A3. On a vehicle that is already relatively low as standard, such as the BMW 3 Series (E9x), individual lowering in the range of 30 to 60 mm at the front and 25 to 55 mm at the rear can be achieved with the ST X coilover suspension. For vehicles with non-wheel-drive double wishbone rear axles, the lowering is set using the ST X coilover suspension rear axle height adjustment.
A damper setup for more driving pleasureWith the damper setup used by ST Suspensions in collaboration with KW, the focus is on a sporty set-up. This reduces the typical roll and body roll movements during compression. A vehicle equipped with an ST coilover suspension responds more directly to all driving maneuvers and is significantly more agile when driving. For example, the nose of the vehicle dips less during braking maneuvers and the handling characteristics increase. The air is forced through the enlarged air intake and then through a much wider intake pipe to the engine. Thanks to its high-quality workmanship, the consistent use of stainless steel struts, corrosion-resistant springs and harmonised components, it stands for many years of driving pleasure - and not just for the life of the car.
Stepless lowering
The KW V1 enables maximum lowering within the tested adjustment range. This varies depending on the vehicle model and can, for example, be between 30 and 70 millimetres or 50 to 90 millimetres for an individual lowering. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even years later. Depending on the vehicle, the lowering is carried out either on the wheel-guiding KW stainless steel suspension struts or on the rear axle height adjustment for non-wheel-guiding double-wishbone rear axles.

More comfort or more sport - you decide
As with all KW coilover suspensions, the KW engineers develop the vehicle-specific KW damper tuning, which is appreciated by car enthusiasts worldwide, in extensive test cycles on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and in our test centre on the KW 7-post driving dynamics test bench. With a KW coilover suspension you experience your car more directly and dynamically. With the KW V2, as an experienced sports driver, you can influence the handling and comfort yourself with the individually adjustable rebound damping. The 16 precise clicks allow you to tune the KW dampers to be firmer or more comfortable without affecting the bottom valve of the compression stage.
Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valves of the KW twin-tube dampers are adjusted at the upper end of the piston rod via an integrated adjustment wheel or the slip-on adjustment wheel included in the scope of delivery. By increasing the rebound force via the adjustment wheel, the body movements on the body are reduced. As a result, your car will track more accurately and you will have even more stability at higher cornering speeds. If, for example, you change the approved wheel/tyre combinations of your car manufacturer for larger rims, you can use the KW V2 with adjustable rebound to perfectly match the handling of your car and your new alloy wheels.

With over 1,000 applications, the wide range of springs from ST suspensions is one of the few lowering springs on the market that improve the handling of a vehicle in combination with the standard suspension. In addition to an appealing lowering effect, the ST suspensions sports springs enable an increase in cornering speed and dynamic driving.
Great looks for every carThe ST suspensions sports springs are manufactured in OEM quality from chrome-silicon steel using a cold-forming process, are multi-tempered and have a final epoxy coating. This enables them to withstand a wide range of weather conditions. Depending on the vehicle model, ST suspensions sports springs can be used to achieve a subtle lowering of 20 mm at the front and 15 mm on the drive axle on the current BMW M3 (E9x series), an appealing 30 mm on both axles on the Audi A1 or up to 60 mm on the VW Golf I, for example. The installation of ST suspensions sports springs not only lowers the body's center of gravity compared to the standard suspension, but also benefits the driving dynamics. During strong steering movements, such as evasive maneuvers and fast cornering, the lower body roll reduces body movements.
