KW coilover suspension DDC ECU KW Dynamic Damping Control ECU Individuality at the push of a button. The KW DDC coilovers are the intelligent suspension solution for retrofitting from the KW iSuspension product range. They combine the advantages of an adaptive damping system with a vehicle-specific sporty and harmonious damper characteristic with a stylish and sporty lowering. The adaptive KW coilovers are available in the KW DDC ECU version with optional app control for vehicles without actively controlled standard suspension and as KW DDC Plug & Play version for selected vehicle models with adaptive standard suspension. The adaptive KW DDC ECU coilovers allow a stepless lowering in the tested adjustment range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even after years. Depending on the vehicle, lowering takes place either on the wheel-guiding KW stainless steel suspension struts or, in the case of non-wheel-guiding double wishbone rear axles, on the rear axle height adjustment. ST X COILOVERS The ST X coilovers allow moderate to eXtreme lowering thanks to the infinitely variable thread adjustment. Based on the know-how of KW, the market leader for individual suspension solutions, the ST X coilovers impress with their quality and driving dynamics. The ST X coilovers made by KW can be quickly and easily adjusted in the lowering level via the trapezoidal thread on the galvanized and multi-sealed spring strut. To do this, the ST polyamide threaded spring washer is turned up or down when installed. The adjustment range is different for each vehicle, for example between 35 and 65 mm on the front and rear axle of the Audi A3. On a vehicle that is already relatively low as standard, such as the BMW 3 Series (E9x), individual lowering in the range of 30 to 60 mm at the front and 25 to 55 mm at the rear can be achieved with the ST X coilover suspension. For vehicles with non-wheel-drive double wishbone rear axles, the lowering is set using the ST X coilover suspension rear axle height adjustment. A damper setup for more driving pleasureWith the damper setup used by ST Suspensions in collaboration with KW, the focus is on a sporty set-up. This reduces the typical roll and body roll movements during compression. A vehicle equipped with an ST coilover suspension responds more directly to all driving maneuvers and is significantly more agile when driving. For example, the nose of the vehicle dips less during braking maneuvers and the handling characteristics increase. The high-quality workmanship of the ST X coilovers includes a low-friction and pressure-resistant housing as well as a chrome-plated piston rod. The monoblock guide and seal package, which protects the twin-tube damper from the ingress of dirt particles, also ensures long-lasting driving pleasure.
