Der S58 hängt seinen Ölkühler tief und flach unter der Front — strömungstechnisch clever, aber im Alltag eine offene Flanke.
Ab Werk schützt nur eine Kunststoff-Unterbodenverkleidung mit großer Öffnung, und genau dort treffen Steinschlag, Splitt, Eisbrocken oder die Kante eines Parkriegels ungebremst auf den Kühler. Ein einziger harter Treffer kann den Ölkühler aufreißen — mit Ölverlust und im schlimmsten Fall einem Motorschaden als Folge. Bei einem Triebwerk vom Kaliber des S58 ist das ein Risiko, das niemand eingehen muss.
Der Aulitzky Ölkühler-Unterfahrschutz ersetzt die anfällige Serienverkleidung durch eine robuste Metallkonstruktion, die den Ölkühler und die darunterliegenden Bauteile zuverlässig abschirmt. Das Herzstück ist das integrierte Wabengitter: Es lässt die volle Kühlluft an den Ölkühler — die Öltemperaturen bleiben dort, wo sie hingehören — und fängt zugleich alles ab, was dem Kühler gefährlich werden könnte. Schutz und Kühlleistung schließen sich hier nicht aus, sondern gehen Hand in Hand.
Gefertigt aus pulverbeschichtetem Metall, formstabil und korrosionsfest, mit eingelasertem AULITZKY-Schriftzug im markanten Wabendesign.
Die Montage erfolgt anstelle der Original-Verkleidung an den vorhandenen Aufnahmepunkten — kein Provisorium, sondern eine sauber integrierte Lösung. Das ist Performance-Tuning mit Namen: durchdachter Bauteilschutz vom Spezialisten für BMW M, der unter dem Auto sitzt und seinen Job macht — auch wenn man ihn nicht sieht.

They combine the advantages of an adaptive damping system with a vehicle-specific sporty and harmonious damper characteristic with a stylish and sporty lowering. The adaptive KW coilovers are available in the KW DDC ECU version with optional app control for vehicles without actively controlled standard suspension and as KW DDC Plug & Play version for selected vehicle models with adaptive standard suspension.The adaptive KW DDC ECU coilovers allow a stepless lowering in the tested adjustment range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even after years. Depending on the vehicle, lowering takes place either on the wheel-guiding KW stainless steel suspension struts or, in the case of non-wheel-guiding double-wishbone rear axles, on the rear axle height adjustment.
