This system is a complete redesign of the stock airboxes with the aim of reducing pressure loss while increasing flow rate and keeping intake temperatures low. Since the stock cold air intakes are located at the front of the vehicle and the turbo intakes face the rear of the vehicle, the airflow must complete a 180-degree turn through each airbox, resulting in flow restriction. To overcome this problem, Eventuri have introduced an additional cold air intake from the cover plate, which allows a more direct flow path to the turbo inlets.
