Introducing the Eventuri intake manifold for F9X and G09.
This intake is the result of extensive research, development and testing to improve the flow of the standard system. This system is a complete redesign of the stock airboxes with the aim of reducing pressure loss while increasing flow rate and keeping intake temperatures low. Since the stock cold air intakes are located at the front of the vehicle and the turbo intakes face the rear of the vehicle, the airflow must complete a 180-degree turn through each airbox, resulting in flow restriction. To overcome this problem, Eventuri have introduced an additional cold air intake from the cover plate, which allows a more direct flow path to the turbo inlets. The additional intakes allow the intake tract to have a higher flow rate while keeping the IAT low, and has the added benefit of no longer restricting the noise of the turbos. With the intakes now facing the cabin, the sounds of turbo flutter and depressurization are clearly audible, taking the driving experience to a new level.

The Eventuri Difference
The Eventuri system for F9X, G09 uses their patenteda carbon fiber housing with their custom Gen 2 filters that provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. It is not another cone filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that utilizes the Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce the drag of the turbo.

Bench testing
This intake has been independently bench tested by MSL Performance in the UK. The tests were carried out back to back with the standard airbox and multiple runs were made with each configuration. The tested vehicle was driven without the activated carbon filter in the standard airboxes. The results on the test bench show a consistent increase in power over a large part of the rev range, which is due to the turbos reaching maximum boost pressure earlier and operating with a lower wastegate duty cycle due to the higher efficiency of the intake system. The increase in power is reflected on the road in improved response at part and full throttle, with the car pulling much more eagerly to redline.

The Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler has a new competition mesh (Tube Fin) with the dimensions 600 mm x 204.6 mm x 80 mm (9.8 liters), which was specially developed for the requirements of the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high-performance mesh offers an 85% larger inflow area and 131% more mesh volume compared to the original intercoolers. The cast aluminium end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for an ideal internal air flow). For the best possible heat exchange, the Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler is installed in the front of the vehicle, replacing the two original side coolers. Together with the Wagner Tuning silicone hoses, the newly developed elliptical hose connection at the outlet of this intercooler enables the maximum possible reduction of the charge air distance. As a result of this and the generally lower back pressure of the charge air system (see diagram), the general response behavior has been significantly improved. An anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties protects the Wagner Tuning intercoolers from any environmental influences, as a result of which a long-lasting and optimum cooling effect can be guaranteed. Installation is carried out by replacing the original intercooler and is easy to perform (plug-and-play). All our products are subject to constant quality control. The main aspects are the balance between aerodynamic efficiency and air intake temperature. An open system was chosen but with differences to other aftermarket airboxes. This can be recognised by the shape of the carbon housing and the position and shape of the air filter.
