The Lamborghini Huracan Eventuri intake system - form and function in sublime harmony. Our aim was to develop a flagship intake system and set a benchmark for this platform - by using organic curves and prepreg carbon fibre, the results speak for themselves. Gone are the impractical cuboid plastic airboxes. In their place is a beautifully engineered system that allows for a smoother airflow and unleashes the glorious roar of the V10 engine.
Every detail has been considered, from the immaculate carbon fibre with integrated MAF pipes to the heat shields and bespoke silicone connectors. More power, improved throttle response and an exhilarating intake sound to enhance the Huracan driving experience. The Huracan requires a tune to make the intake work without Check Engine Light. This is due to the narrow MAF range that is set at the factory and is exceeded by the higher airflow offered by the intake manifolds.
Power and torque are increased over a large part of the rev range, not just at the peak. On the road, this results in improved response at part and full throttle, with the car pulling much more eagerly to the redline.

How the new Porsche 992 intercooler system worksUnconventional to the typical single, side-mounted intercoolers behind the front door ducts found in previous water-cooled turbo models, the new 992 generation has relocated the intercooler system to the top of the engine bay. The fresh ambient air is now channelled into the intercooler system through redesigned intercooler ducts located under the boot lid.
Cold, fresh air is drawn in by the charge air ducts, which are located on each side of the vehicle's rear side panelling. The air then flows into the inlet tanks on each side of the intercooler system module. The heat transfer process takes place as the charge air moves through the charge air cooler core and the ambient air from the upper charge air cooler ducts flows through the core and exits below the vehicle. The intercooled charge air from both cores is then combined in the single outlet reservoir in the centre section before entering the Y-pipe, which is connected to the engine's throttle body.
The CSF advantageThe key feature of the CSF by PWR 992 Turbo/S intercooler system is the Formula-1 grade intercooler core. CSF's strategic relationship with PWR has enabled the use of this core, which is unlike any other in the performance aftermarket.
Industry-leading dyno testing by M-EngineeringWorking with Jon and Mitch, the owners and lead tuners of M-Engineering, the OEM intercoolers were compared to the CSF High-Performance Intercooler System on World Motorsports' state-of-the-art wind tunnel dyno.Below are the graphs of the data from two test runs, one with the stock intercooler and one with the CSF High-Performance Intercooler. These tests started in 4th gear at 2500 rpm, went through a gear change to 5th and then to redline.
The CSF intercooler system proved to be much more efficient over the entire rev range, especially at very high charge air temperatures (beginning of the run).

Due to the larger and more efficient cores, the CSF intercooler system showed a slightly higher pressure drop with a range of 0.5 to 1 psi more than the OEM system throughout the bench test. This is generally to be expected - more surface area, more resistance - but with increased cooling efficiency offered by the CSF intercooler system.

The F6X JCW Eventuri intake system is a perfect example of our "Complete System" principle. It is a sealed system that ensures the turbo does not draw in hot air from the engine bay, but is complemented with a functional cowl scoop that forces ambient air into the intake duct. This duct has a larger internal volume than the standard version and also draws in air at the standard point above the radiator. The combination of a closed system with an air scoop results in lower intake temperatures than the standard airbox and avoids heat sacks, which are a frequent problem, especially on more powerful MINIs. To ensure the smoothest possible flow, we use our patented Venturi filter housing, which has an integrated MAF section for a seamless flow path to the turbo.
