KW Dynamic Damping Control ECU Individuality at the touch of a button.
The KW DDC coilovers are the intelligent suspension solution for retrofitting from the KW iSuspension product range. They combine the advantages of an adaptive damping system with a vehicle-specific sporty and harmonious damper characteristic with a stylish and sporty lowering. The adaptive KW coilovers are available in the KW DDC ECU version with optional app control for vehicles without actively controlled standard suspension and as KW DDC Plug & Play version for selected vehicle models with adaptive standard suspension.
The adaptive KW DDC ECU coilovers allow a stepless lowering in the tested adjustment range. Thanks to the dirt-resistant trapezoidal thread and the polyamide threaded ring, the stepless lowering can be varied quickly and easily even after years. Depending on the vehicle, lowering takes place either on the wheel-guiding KW stainless steel suspension struts or, in the case of non-wheel-guiding double-wishbone rear axles, on the rear axle height adjustment. No matter where in the world, sporty drivers, car manufacturers and tuners rely on our KW technology "Made in Germany".
Every KW coilover suspension is subjected to extensive load tests during production and is developed and manufactured directly at our company headquarters in Fichtenberg, Swabia, in order to fulfil the high standards of our KW quality management. As a German manufacturer, it is a matter of course for us to provide a multi-year warranty on our KW coilover suspension kits, which exceed OEM quality and cover over 4,600 applications. This warranty is up to five years when installed by one of our KW specialist dealers. The adaptive KW DDC ECU coilovers with app control are currently available for Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, VW and many other vehicles such as the Range Rover Evoque.

The scope of delivery of the KW DDC ECU coilover kit also includes a KW DDC button. This allows you to select the KW DDC driving modes "Comfort", "Sport" and "Sport+" directly from the cockpit. The KW DDC button changes the colour to match the KW DDC APP.

This allows you to upgrade your vehicle with adaptive damper control and optionally adapt it to your driving style via the KW DDC app. You do not need any tools or have to work on the dampers yourself.
The free KW DDC App in combination with our optionally available W-Lan module is your tool to carry out an individual damper tuning live and in real time.

Read and write access to the ECUs of the current G8x generation is now possible! - It is NOT necessary to send the ECU abroad to activate it, it is done in-house.- Due to the hardware-based activation, the ECU is still writable even after a BMW software update without renewed activation.- The Stage 1 & 2 software optimization is also carried out in-house and includes further free individualizations on request, such as a V-Max increase, etc.- Due to the unrestricted access, adjustments to the software version are also possible at any time afterwards.- The vehicle is required on site. Taking inspiration from our RS3 intake, we have made the most of the available space to create an intake that is suitable for all power levels, from standard equipment through to high performance systems with hybrid or full frame turbos. This intake system has been developed to provide the highest possible flow rate while achieving the lowest possible intake temperatures. Each component has been designed to give the turbo a smooth and clear flow path. The restrictive standard intake pipe with a diameter of 73 mm is replaced by an intake pipe with a larger diameter of 94 mm. The filter itself has an outer diameter of 192mm or 7.5? with a filter area of over 110,000mm^2. The patented Venturi housing is designed to provide the largest possible internal volume for the space available in the Golf engine bay and provides laminar flow to the turbo pipe. Finally, the duct seals the filter opening at the windshield, but is not restricted by the stock intake alone. The resulting system can significantly outflow the stock airbox while keeping intake temperatures to a minimum with the sealed design. Dyno testingOur MK8 Golf intake has been independently tested by a renowned tuner in the UK, Regal Autosport. A MK8 Golf R was tested in original condition and with a tuning box. The tests were carried out on the same day, with the standard airbox being tested first and then the Eventuri. No other changes were made to the car. The first graph shows the results with a stock map. As you can see, there is a measurable gain across the rev range of up to 12 hp. This gain is noticeable even in a standard vehicle on the road due to better throttle response and faster acceleration. The tuning box was used for both the stock airbox and the Eventuri intake without any changes being made between tests. With a higher flow requirement, the stock airbox places a greater restriction on the turbo, which is evident by the significant gain achieved with the Eventuri fitted. We now have a power increase of up to 20 hp and 30 Nm across the entire rev range, which is even more noticeable on the road. We expect the gains to be even greater with higher tuning levels. The improvements are due to a combination of reasons:1) The closed system keeps IAT levels low - the Golf's engine bay can heat up very quickly, so an open cone filter leads to an increase in IAT levels and therefore a loss of power.2) The Venturi housing provides a smooth transition from the filter to the intake pipes, both of which are matched to an internal diameter of 94mm. This contributes to a more efficient operation of the turbo.3) The entire system is made of pure pre-impregnated carbon fiber, which provides excellent insulation against heat and has smooth inner surfaces, unlike fiberglass, which has sharp resin lines.
