The competition package for the Audi RS4 B9 consists of the intercooler upgrade kit and the water cooler upgrade kit. Suitable for the following models: Audi RS4 B9 331KW/450hp from 2017 Audi RS5 F5 331KW/450hp from 2017 The intercooler upgrade kit: The 2.9 litre V6 biturbo engine (VW EA839) of the Audi RS4 models is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. The charge air cooling process is therefore realised by a water-cooled charge air cooler, which is replaced by the WagnerTuning high-performance charge air cooler. The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new type of performance mesh with dimensions of 222 mm x 200 mm x 120 mm. This was specially developed for the high demands of the RS4/RS5 engine and offers 185% more external mesh volume compared to the original intercooler. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time enables the best possible internal air flow. The cast aluminium end boxes were designed in CAD and optimised with the aid of CFD simulations. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore also suitable for racing. Optimum cooling of the supercharged air with a significant increase in performance! All WAGNERTUNING intercoolers are equipped with a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating to ensure a long-lasting cooling effect.
