For all owners of the old system, there is now an upgrade kit with which the half-open air ducts can be closed. In the “Carbon” version, the intake is always the new, closed V2 intake. The Eventuri carbon intake system was developed to increase engine performance, improve handling and enhance the overall driving experience. With an inverted cone-shaped filter, enclosed in a carbon/Kevlar housing, Eventuri utilizes the so-called Venturi effect. The result is an even laminar airflow, which not only provides more power but also better responsiveness and a new sound experience.the airbox is manufactured using the pre-preg process. The system is designed so that no hot air is drawn out of the engine compartment. Instead, only pure fresh air reaches the engine to generate maximum performance gains. The air routing has been designed to create an ideal transition between the round opening on the filter housing and the rectangular opening on the cover. Of particular importance is the air baffle at the front behind the radiator grille, which enables a direct supply of cold air into the intake system. The patented Eventuri process also allows the airflow to be accelerated. This is achieved by means of the Venturi effect, in which the inverted conical filter causes the cross-section to become progressively narrower. This ultimately generates an increase in performance, torque and an improvement in response behaviour and sound. A parts certificate is included!
