The system is designed so that no hot air is drawn out of the engine compartment. Instead, only pure fresh air reaches the engine to generate maximum performance gains. The air routing has been designed to create an ideal transition between the round opening on the filter housing and the rectangular opening on the cover. Of particular importance is the air baffle at the front behind the radiator grille, which enables a direct supply of cold air into the intake system. The patented Eventuri process also allows the airflow to be accelerated. This is achieved by means of the Venturi effect, in which the inverted conical filter causes the cross-section to become progressively narrower. This ultimately generates an increase in performance, torque and an improvement in response behaviour and sound. A parts certificate is included!
