Our Performance intercooler sets new standards in terms of efficiency and performance. With net dimensions of 720 mm x 201 mm x 130 mm (stepped), it offers a generous external charge air volume of 15.4 liters compared to the conventional 5.5 liters (OEM). Thanks to the newly developed performance high performance mesh (bar and plate), sufficient airflow is maintained for adjacent components such as the water cooler, while the intercooler itself remains light and compact. With a total weight of just 11.9 kg, it is a real lightweight. The cast aluminium end boxes were created using the CAD process and optimized using CFD simulations to ensure optimum internal airflow. An integrated air duct in the end box ensures even filling of the competition high-performance network. The inlets and outlets of the intercooler have been enlarged to Ø 65 mm, which makes it necessary to reinforce the silicone hoses. Overall, our intercooler offers a significantly lower back pressure than the standard intercooler. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties. This ensures long-lasting and optimum cooling with an impressive increase in performance. Installation is carried out by replacing the OEM charge air cooler and is easy to carry out thanks to our detailed installation instructions. The C8 Corvette Eventuri intake sets a new standard for the most powerful intake and largest available internal volume* on this platform. Since the size and shape of the intake is limited by the OEM trunk liner, we redesigned it to allow for a larger intake. We also made it out of transparent polycarbonate so that the carbon intake tract is visible when the trunk is open. Thanks to our patented Venturi housing concept, the airflow can pass through the filters on a much less tortuous path, which reduces the system's air resistance. In addition, by increasing the overall volume in the intake tract, the flow capacity has also been increased so that maximum power gains can be achieved on more powerful models. The tests were conducted on fully stock vehicles, with the stock airbox and Eventuri intake tested back-to-back on the same day. Paragon Performance conducted the tests in their closed environment, recording temperatures and fuel trim levels. A fully stock C8 was tested with stabilized engine temperatures and then the car was left on the dyno while the intake was installed. After installation, the car was brought up to the same temperatures and then the performance data was measured. This ensured that the tests were conducted in an unbiased manner, balancing the variables for the stock airbox and the Eventuri intake.
