The Competition high-performance intercooler impresses with generous mesh dimensions of 550mm x 445mm x 70mm, which corresponds to a total volume of 17,130cm³. Thanks to this impressive size, it offers a 134% larger inflow area and a 105% increase in charge air volume compared to the standard intercooler. The high-quality Tube Fin mesh with internal turbulators ensures optimum air flow and maximum cooling performance. Despite its impressive dimensions, the total weight of the intercooler is just 9.5 kg, which saves weight and improves vehicle dynamics.

The cast aluminium end boxes of the charge air cooler have been optimized with the help of flow analyses in the CFD system in order to achieve outstanding cooling performance with minimum back pressure. The connection diameters at the charge air cooler inlet are Ø62 mm and at the charge air cooler outlet Ø67 mm to ensure optimum flow efficiency.

Another highlight is the anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties, which is added to all our intercoolers. This ensures permanent and optimum cooling with a significant increase in performance.
