Specially developed to meet the demanding requirements of the Hyundai i30 N, this intercooler is equipped with a new type of competition mesh (Tube Fin), which impresses with its dimensions of 580 mm x 150 mm x 135.4 mm + 580 mm x 62 mm x 70 mm (stepped mesh: 14.3 litres). With a 44.3 % larger inflow area and 101.4 % larger mesh volume compared to the original intercooler, this high-performance mesh offers unrivalled performance.
The high-quality cast aluminium end boxes have been CAD designed and optimised using CFD simulations to ensure ideal internal airflow. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal back pressure. In addition, the innovative high-performance mesh enables sufficient airflow to neighbouring components such as the water cooler through the use of a specially manufactured air baffle. This kit is therefore perfect for racing and offers optimum cooling of the supercharged air with a significant increase in performance.
With an anti-corrosion coating, which has outstanding heat conduction properties, the Wagner Tuning intercoolers are optimally protected against environmental influences and offer a long-lasting and efficient cooling effect. Installation is effortless at the original mounting points and is easy to carry out thanks to the plug-and-play system.
