The Competition intercooler kit is suitable for the following model:Fiat Abarth 500 1.4 Turbo 99 KW/135hp (2008-2016)**Does not fit plug and play on US models. The Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler has a new competition mesh (Tube Fin) with the dimensions 600 mm x 204.6 mm x 80 mm (9.8 liters), which was specially developed for the requirements of the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high-performance mesh offers an 85% larger inflow area and 131% more mesh volume compared to the original intercoolers. The cast aluminium end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for an ideal internal air flow). For the best possible heat exchange, the Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler is installed in the front of the vehicle, replacing the two original side coolers. Together with the Wagner Tuning silicone hoses, the newly developed elliptical hose connection at the outlet of this intercooler enables the maximum possible reduction of the charge air distance. As a result of this and the generally lower back pressure of the charge air system (see diagram), the general response behavior has been significantly improved.
