This unique Y-intake manifold was designed for the best possible internal airflow using complex CFD simulations. All constrictions of the original intake manifold were eliminated and adapted to a uniform cross-section. This means that the intake air flowing through is no longer unnecessarily blocked by changes in cross-section. This results in a reduction of the back pressure in the charge air system.
In your vehicle, this results in a noticeable increase in performance (varies depending on the software version).
