The Audi RS6/ RS7 and Audi S6/ S7 have an indirect charge air cooling circuit in which the charge air is cooled by a water-cooled charge air cooler. In this vehicle, the intercooler is located specifically in the hot V of the engine. An upgrade of the OEM intercooler is necessary to ensure optimum cooling in the long term.

Our unique Wagner Tuning Performance intercooler was specially developed for the demanding requirements of the RS models. The high-quality cooling network offers an additional 118 % more external network volume compared to the intercooler fitted as standard. The ratio between the inner and outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and at the same time optimises the internal air flow. CFD simulations were used to develop the end boxes from high-quality aluminium chill casting in order to ensure optimum air flow conditions. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore also ideally suited for racing.
