Despite its size, this intercooler impresses with a weight of just 9.1 kg. The cast aluminium end boxes were developed using the latest CAD technology and optimized using CFD simulations to ensure the ideal internal airflow. An innovative integrated air guide in the end box ensures even filling of the Competition high-performance mesh. With an enlarged connection diameter of Ø67 mm and reinforced silicone hoses, this kit impresses with minimal back pressure compared to the standard intercooler.
The high-performance charge air cooler is equipped with a high-quality anti-corrosion coating that offers excellent heat conduction properties. This ensures permanent and optimum cooling, resulting in a significant increase in performance. Installation of the completely ready-to-fit kit is simple and is carried out by replacing the standard intercooler.
This high-performance intercooler has undergone rigorous testing and is pressure-stable up to 6 bar.
