The Competition intercooler has been developed to set new standards. With net dimensions of 620 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm, it offers an impressive external charge air volume of 17.7 liters (compared to the conventional 9 liters). The innovative competition high-performance mesh (Tube Fin) not only ensures sufficient airflow for adjacent components such as the water cooler, but also impresses with its low weight. The intercooler weighs just 9.2 kg in total. The cast aluminium end boxes were developed using the latest CAD technology and optimized using CFD simulations to ensure the best possible internal airflow. An integrated air duct in the end box ensures a homogeneous filling of the Competition high-performance mesh and thus maximizes the efficiency of your vehicle. The inlets and outlets of the intercooler have been enlarged to a diameter of Ø 70 mm, which is why this kit is supplied with reinforced silicone hoses.
