The Wagner Tuning Competition intercooler kit EVO 2 is suitable for:
Audi TTRS 8J 250KW/340hp (2009-2014)
Audi TTRS plus 8J 265KW/360hp(2009-2014)

The Competition intercooler kit EVO 3 (not EVO 3.X!) for Audi TTRS 8J is now available with parts certificate and in two different mesh variants!

Important: We recommend using the standard version for power classes up to 600 hp and the X version for power classes from 600 hp.
The new EVO 3.X mesh version was developed in cooperation with a renowned Audi tuner and is suitable for higher power increases from 600 hp. The size of the intercooler remains unchanged from the standard version. Only the inner mesh structure has been further optimized for the high performance classes and adapted to the conditions. The EVO 3.X therefore ensures optimum charge air flow with very good cooling performance. For all power classes below 600 hp, we still recommend using the standard version.
The high-performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (515mm x 367[274]mm x 95mm) and thus offers a 120% larger airflow area and 142% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed competition high-performance mesh ensures sufficient airflow to the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminium and have been optimized using flow analyses in the CAD system. Integrated air baffles at the inlet ensure that the charge air cooler is filled evenly. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore just right for racing. The intercooler and the original crossbar form a stable unit and weigh only 11.2 kg thanks to the new competition high-performance mesh. It is fitted to the original mounting points and is easy to install (1:1 replacement). Optimum cooling of the supercharged air with a significant increase in performance! The connection diameter is 68mm on both sides.

Every component, including the cover, has been designed to allow the twin-turbo V8s to draw in air with less drag, resulting in industry-leading performance gains. The standard airbox lid itself restricts the size of the flow collector that feeds the filter inlets. Therefore, we have increased the height of the centre section of the lid to allow a larger flow collector and larger cone filters to be used. This removes the inherent restriction and sets our intake apart from the rest of the field, which also has to use a restricted header and filter media by using the standard lid. The turbo inlets are up to 43% larger in cross section than the standard inlets and feature an advanced dimpled inner surface to reduce frictional losses between the flow and the wall boundary. By creating an air "cushion" on the wall surface, the airflow can move through the inlets at higher flow rates and lower pressure drop. This allows the turbos to draw in air with less resistance, reducing the wastegate duty cycle, resulting in higher overall performance. *Measured gains may vary with different ECU setups. Bench test This intake was independently dyno tested by Eurocharged Canada. Testing was conducted back to back with the stock airbox and multiple runs were made with each configuration. The dyno results show a consistent power increase across the rev range, which is due to the turbos reaching maximum boost pressure earlier and a lower wastegate duty cycle being required due to the higher efficiency of the intake system. The first diagram shows the results of a vehicle where only the intake has been changed between runs. The second diagram shows an RSQ8 that was run with a stage 1 set-up and a drop-in filter as the base vehicle. The intake was then changed, while the set-up remained unchanged. The increase in performance on both cars can be seen on the road in improved response at part and full throttle, with the car pulling much more eagerly to redline.
