Not every BMW softwarestand regulates the exhaust flaps correctly according to the ECE specifications. For this reason, we offer our optional flap control module, which complies 100% with the legal regulations and guarantees legal operation of the Aulitzky Exhaust.

In conjunction with the standard or ECE flap control system (with type approval), this flap exhaust system has ECE approval, meaning that it can be used legally within the scope of the StVZO without registration in the vehicle documents.
The use of flap exhaust systems in conjunction with the race flap control (without approval) is not permitted for use on public roads and is only intended for racing purposes!
If you nevertheless install a product without approval in your vehicle and use it within the scope of the StVZO, you are liable to prosecution.
Possible consequences that you can expect in this case: Expiry of the operating licence in accordance with §19 of the StVZO and possible resulting immobilisation of the vehicle. Other possible consequences, such as a charge of tax evasion, as well as possible investigations by the environmental authorities are at the discretion of the investigators.
