COMPETITION CHARGE AIR COOLER KIT EVO3 for BMW F30/31/32/34/35/36 335i & 435i N55 engine
The high-performance intercooler has mesh dimensions of 510mm x 345mm x 180mm (stepped 23.56 litres) and thus offers a 165% larger flow area and 223% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high-performance mesh is a high-quality Tube Fin mesh with internal turbulators. Despite its size, the total weight of the intercooler is only 13.8kg. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminium and have been optimised with the help of flow analyses in the CFD system. The EVO3 intercooler kit was developed directly for the high demands of the large tuning stages on the BMW M135i and M235i. The original click connections have been eliminated and the connection diameters at the inlet have been increased to Ø65mm and the outlet to Ø76mm. The kit therefore includes two reinforced silicone hoses and an aluminium charge air pipe in Ø76mm. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimum cooling with a significant increase in performance. Complete ready-to-install kit, including modified crossbar, easy to replace with standard parts - due to the extreme size, minor adjustments to the radiator support are necessary. Tested up to 6 bar and pressure-stable. All our products are subject to constant quality control. Suitable for racing.
