Silicone hose kit (aluminium) VW Scirocco 3 R

The revised Competition Gen.2 intercooler kit for the VAG models with the 2.0T(F)SI engine of the 1st & 2nd generation.The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions (610mm x 440mm x 65mm / 17.45L) and thus offers a 10% larger flow area and 50% more charge air volume compared to the original Audi S3 intercooler. The newly developed competition high-performance mesh ensures sufficient airflow to the neighbouring components, such as the water cooler, and is also very light (S3 OEM 8kg/ WAGNERTUNING 9.2kg). CAD-developed free-form end boxes with integrated cast aluminium air baffle for the best possible internal air distribution. The CNC machined hose connections have been enlarged to Ø67mm, so this kit comes with matching silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has far less back pressure than the standard cooler. In addition, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties. This guarantees optimum cooling with a significant increase in performance. Installation is carried out by replacing the OEM charge air cooler and is simple to perform. All our products are subject to constant quality control.
